How Do Sites Get To The Top Of A Result List In Google

How do sites get to the top of a result list in Google. The answer is simple and contains three words - keywords, contents and links.

You need to start thinking about what keywords will enter when looking for information. When you pick a popular keyword there will be a lot of competition so it is better to target a keyword which is not so popular and that has less competition.

It's best if you can pick a phrase containing three words. You need to write a press release article, blog or build a web page about the keyword phrase, The text needs to be keyword rich and if you are using a website you need to make full use of metatags.

The final part that build position is how many other sites are linked to your URL containing you keyword phrase. The back links must contain your keyword phrase.

You can promote an affiliate but are not likely to get a top position. blogs are very powerful and can be used to provide RSS feeds to a site to ensure fresh keyword specific content is entered into your website every day.

I got onto the first page of Google with Global Internet Business Links, within 18 hours of a submitting a press release in competition with some 5M entries.
